Yep! You can pre-prepare as much as you'd like, but please wait til the right day to post!

DO I HAVE TO POST EVERY DAY?
Nope! Days marked with a red star are the main ones, Please feel free to focus on them and skip the rest of the prompts if you're busy/tired/sick/just wanna take it easy.

DO I HAVE TO MAKE NEW STUFF?
Nope! Re-using old stuff if it fits the prompt is ok :)

DO I HAVE TO DRAW/BE AN ARTIST?
Nope! You can participate with any medium - text posts, writing, art, bases/picrews, moodboards... please include credit if you're using bases/picrews/other resources tho!

INTRO WEEK

1. NEW OC (main day) - Introduce a new character! They don't have to be your very latest, any relatively new one will do!

2. OLD OC (optional day) - Introduce an older character! This could be your very first OC, or just one that you made a while ago!

3. FAV OC (main day) - Introduce your fav oc, or just a character you like a lot if you can't decide on a top fav!

4. SONA/SELF INSERT (optional day) - Do you have a character based off yourself/that you use to represent yourself? (like a fursona, mascot, you-in-your-fav-tv-show, etc)

5. UNDER-APPRECIATED OC (optional day) - Show some love to a forgotten character, like a minor/background character or an OC you drew once and then never touched again

DEVELOPMENT WEEK

This week is all about getting to know your characters deeper ^_^

6. RELATIONSHIPS (main day) - Do you have multiple characters who are all in a friend group? Or how aout characters you ship together? Maybe an family tree for all your related characters? Or how about enemies? Lots of options for what to do today...

7. HOME (optional day) - Where do your characters live? Where are they from? This could be taken as broad as the country they were born in or as specific as a floorplan of their house!

8. PERRSONALITY (optional day) - What kind of people are your OCs? How do they behave or present themselves, what are their likes/dislikes or unique quirks?

9. INVENTORY (optional day) - What kind of items do your OCs own, or carry around? Are there any plot-relevant objects?

10. SYMOLISM/THEMES (main day) - What do you use to represent your OCs? Do you have specific colours you associate with them? Or animal/plant motifs that you use in art of them? Are there themes that come up repeatedly in your stories with them?

11. SKILLS (optional day) - What is your character good at? Do they have any hobies they're particularly good at? Or do you have OCs with a power/ability?

12. WEAKNESSES (optional day) - What about the negative parts of their story - what are your characters flaws, weaknesses or struggles?

CHOOSE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE WEEK

Instead of the usual palette challenges (which kinda prioritized art over other mediums, sorry!) I'm trying something new this year... so this week has three different tracks to choose from: Creator (for anyone who wants to make new ocs, or show off more of their existing ones), Storyteller (for writers or narrative-focusted creatives), and the returning palette challenges ...
feel free to choose whichever you want - you can stick to one set, jump between them, or mixing-and-match to combine then!

COMMUNITY WEEK

20-26 (20 and 23 are the main days, and the rest are optional)
This week doesn't have any set prompts! Go interact however you feel comfy!
Some ideas for what you can do this week: Reblog/comment on ocs, talk aout a friend's oc you really like, create surprise gift art, set up a colla, roleplay, trade, or anything else you can think of that involves making friends and interacting with people!

FUN + GAMES WEEK

27. RE-DESIGN (main day)
- Take an old OC and give them a refresh! This could mean updating their appearance, changing their backstory, putting them in a new setting, or anything else that changes them. Alternatively, if you've re-designed a character in the past, show how they've changed!

28. INSPIRATIONS (optional day) - What inspired you to make your ocs? Are they based off characters from existing media? Did you get the idea for them from a song? Did they come to you in a dream? Etc

29. SWAP (optional day) - Swap something between your characters - put them in each other's clothes, species-swap your cat oc to a dog oc, change their personality to the opposite, etc...

30. MEMES (optional day) - Share memes that fit your OCs, redraw a meme pic as your character, fill out an old deviantart-era meme, share an in-joke about your characters etc

31. HALLOWEEN COSTUME (main day) - Happy halloween, and congrats on making it to the end of the event!!!! Draw your OC/s dressing up for halloween ^_^
